1. Viscosity is an important indicator of PU color paste, and the most suitable viscosity range for PU color paste is 2000--3000 mPa·s. Because experience shows that the fluidity and dispersion of the color paste in this viscosity range are the most stable, suitable for manual operation and mixing of machine heads;

2. For the polyurethane industry, the most ideal fineness range of color paste is to reach less than 15 microns, if the fineness is too large, the pigment particles in the foaming process of the product, will produce "nucleation" effect, thereby affecting the structure of the cell, at the same time the surface of the product will also be rough, in addition, due to the poor color exhibition of the color paste and increase the amount of addition;

3. The amount of color paste added should be controlled within 3% of the polyol, so that their effect on the formula is negligible.
