Precautions for PU color paste during transportation

When transporting PU color paste, special attention should be paid to the following matters to ensure the quality and safety of the color paste:

Packaging requirements: PU color paste should be packaged in well-sealed containers to prevent leakage during transportation. Commonly used packaging materials are plastic barrels, iron barrels or composite barrels, and the packaging containers must be sturdy and durable.

Moisture-proof and waterproof: PU color paste is sensitive to moisture, so it needs to avoid contact with water during transportation. It should be ensured that it is not exposed to a humid environment during transportation to prevent rain penetration.

Temperature control: PU color paste usually has temperature requirements, and extreme conditions of high or low temperatures should be avoided. During transportation, if the temperature is too high, the color paste may deteriorate; while low temperature may cause the color paste to freeze or stratify. It needs to be transported under suitable temperature conditions, especially in extreme climates, and insulation or refrigeration equipment should be used.

Avoid vibration and impact: During transportation, severe vibration and impact should be avoided, because PU color paste may stratify or undergo other physical changes. Cushioning materials can be added to the outside of the packaging to reduce the impact of vibration.

Comply with transportation regulations: PU color paste is a chemical product. When transporting, it is necessary to comply with relevant dangerous goods transportation regulations, especially for bulk or large-scale transportation. Ensure that the relevant national and regional safety transportation regulations are followed.

Avoid contact with other chemicals: During transportation, PU color paste should avoid contact with other chemicals, especially acids, alkalis and solvents, to avoid chemical reactions.

Labels and instructions: Each packaging barrel should be marked with clear transportation labels, including dangerous goods signs, storage conditions, instructions for use and other information, to facilitate handling and transportation by transport personnel.

Storage environment: If temporary storage is required during transportation, a dry, ventilated and temperature-appropriate environment should be selected, away from fire and heat sources, to ensure that the color paste is not affected by the external environment.
