The use process of pu paint

The general process for using PU paint is as follows:

Surface Preparation: Make sure the surface to be coated is clean, flat and free of oil, dust or other impurities. You can use sandpaper or emery cloth to smooth the surface so that the paint will adhere better.

Primer Application: To increase adhesion and durability, you first need to apply a coat of primer. Choose the appropriate primer for the situation and apply according to product instructions. Application is usually done using tools such as brushes, rollers or spray guns.

Intermediate Sanding: After the primer is completely dry, lightly sand the surface with fine sandpaper to remove possible paint imperfections and roughness and make the surface smoother.

PU paint application: Stir the PU paint thoroughly and evenly, and then use tools such as brushes, rollers or spray guns to apply the paint to the surface. When brushing, pay attention to apply evenly to avoid dripping, bubbling or brush marks. If using a spray gun, pay attention to adjusting the nozzle and air pressure to obtain the ideal spraying effect.

Drying and curing: Wait for the paint layer to completely dry and cure according to the PU paint instructions. This usually takes a while, avoid touching or being exposed to water or other chemicals during this time.

Grinding and Polishing (Optional): If a higher gloss is required, you can grind and polish using fine sandpaper or a polisher to achieve the desired smoothness and shine.
