PU foam cell opening agent is an additive used in polyurethane foam foaming, which can promote the cell opening of polyurethane foam. Its working principle mainly includes the following aspects:

Reduce surface tension: Surface tension can be reduced in polyurethane foam, allowing gas inside the foam to expand and diffuse more easily. This allows many tiny bubbles to form, creating open pores in the polyurethane foam.

Increase internal pressure: Increase the pressure inside the polyurethane foam, causing greater stress inside the foam. When the polyurethane molecular chains are subjected to enough pressure, they break, forming more open pores.

Formation of gaseous reaction products: It can react with isocyanate in the polyurethane foaming system to form gaseous reaction products. These gas reaction products can promote the cell opening of polyurethane foam through diffusion and expansion.
